understanding the CMT experience

Heidi,

I find when I focus on my son it helps too. He doesn't really show signs of CMT,

like I have, but, he has Celiac Disease and I have to make all his food special

because wheat is added to everything that is processed, almost. They are getting

better. There are now a (very) few soups out without wheat in them, very few

though because wheat is a thickener and cheaper.

So, I also focus on helping him with his homework. That takes my mindoff what I

can't do with my feet anymore. While he's in school I try to get as much

exercise as possible but it is now difficult because I'm having for 2 weeks now

alot of knee pain. I forgot what else I wanted to respond to.

Oh yeah, just looking back at your email, I think it is good to have others that

can understand your CMT from experience. Not that I would wish it on anyone, I

just hope to find someone who has CMT who can understand about the foot-drop,

etc. I mean someone I can see in person. I'm off to pick up my son. Have a good

day!
