I have been treating my ASD son (age 11) with Samento and most

recently added LDM-100 along with the usual biomed supplements. He

does pretty well, although his OCD is through the roof. My biggest

problem is when he goes to his father's every other weekend. His

father is the opposite of biomed and so I don't send supplements on

those weekends. He also took both of my kids off of their diet (SCD at

the time) about 4 years ago when we divorced and gives them all kinds

of junk with lots of sugar on top. It causes me great pain, but there

isn't a lot I can do about this.

What I have done in the past is to have " Detox " Mondays. However,

lately it has been much worse. My kids are both absolutely wrecked

when they come home and it takes about 48 hours to get them leveled

out. I have been giving them a handful of antioxidants (coQ10,

Pycnogenol, etc) and detox support (glycine, vitamin C) and then a

couple of hours later charcoal or bentonite. When I say wrecked, I

mean their eyes are completely bloodshot (like they have been in a

heavily chlorinated pool, they cry at the drop of a hat, they whine

and carry on like little toddlers, my son says is he going to kill

himself and so on. I know that he isn't really going to hurt himself,

but it is disturbing that he gets this far down.

All I know is that they eat bad stuff, are exposed to a lot of

fragrance (we are fragrance free here) and probably stay up late.

Anyone have any ideas on what else I can give them before they go and

when they come home? I tried sending enzymes with them, but they

always come back to me untouched. It is so frustrating to see

progress only to have it all evaporate in a weekend.

Thanks!

Jane
