Guest guest Posted September 20, 2007 Report Share Posted September 20, 2007 Has anyone on with double joints / dislocations / hypermobility been assessed as having Ehler's Danlos? I ask because my elbow doctor assessed me as having this, which is a genetic condition impacting the state of the collagen in the body. My neurology clinic said to be cautious about such a diagnosis as since the CMT also impacts protein (myelin in my case) that perhaps it was a CMT variant and not a separate condition.
