First of all, welcome.

What state do you live in? What has been initiated to start the process of helping your son? What does/can he eat? I live in Texas. My son was dxd with Autism at age 2 and now he is 3 and still not talking, but a bus picks him up and he has been attending afternoon PK with others on the spectrum and he loves it. He even attended summer school for the first time too. How can we help your family and what questions do you have for us?

Hi shannon! Welcome to the group! My name is Stacie and I live in Aurora Illinois! I am married to Jim and oct 9th will be our 9th anniversary. We have 3 kids. Lexie is 12, is 10 and we just found out she has ASD in may and SI! She also has a tic disorder and she is on meds for that! She has had that for 2 years! She is very high functioning and what is called the little proffessor! My youngest is ! He is 5 and has Autism, a seizure disorder and SI as well! He went to a special needs school for 2 years and 6 weeks and was in a special needs preschool! This year they opened up for the first time ever a diagnostic K class for Autism! He has 1 teacher and 3 assistants and there were only 5 inthe class but now only 3 because 2 of them moved! It is great!
