Guest guest
Welcome Misty! Sounds like Cody is doing great. I have an 8 year old daughter named Bekah. She is in normal class too. The only thing we deal with is behavior. Let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Ellen, mom of 11, Ben 10, Bekah 8 (mds) and 6 Intro I thought I had already subscribed to this list, but I did not send information about my son! I have a 7 year old MDS, he attends regular class, and is doing very well. His name is Cody. We live in Texas. I look forward to getting more information from others on Education, routine, so on... Misty Brown Won't you please consider adding your personal story on the MDS website today? http://www.mosaicdownsyndrome.com And please don't forget to check the message board frequently...it's a great way to meet others who are affected by MDS, who are not on our mailing list! http://www.insidetheweb.com/mbs.cgi/mb778401*************************************************
Guest guest
Since I just commented on a post I figure it is time to introduce myself. I have 3 kids, 2 affected by ASD. My affected kids are now 4 and 6 and both are doing very well. We have been treating our kids for 4 years and have done the DAN stuff for a while then Yasko. We also do cranio-sacral therapy and did years of traditional therapy(ABA,speech, OT, RDI). I stopped Yasko's protocol a few months ago and we have been trying to find a less expensive way help our kids stay healthy. At the beginning of the summer I would have considered both of my kids recovered(a managed recovery), then we had some regression. With some help from another mom who helped me learn to muscle test, they are back to a point where they appear NT again. I started testing everything they eat and all the supplements they take and I have been learning a lot about what their bodies need. I am very interested in the new support group Tami is starting. Tami, please let me know if I can help out. Bernie
