Guest guest
ALA is a chelator and should be treated accordingly by dosing according to its 1/2 life, i.e. dosing every 3 hours, day and night, for some time on, and a greater time off. Guest guest
I think you are doing pretty good so far: >Lauricidin, Viralstop, OLE, Valtrex and Acyclovir - anti virals; the first > three don't require a prescription; the latter two do with the possibility > that they both (Acyclovir, Valtrex) might alter adenosine levels in the > methylation pathways. CORRECT High Dose Vitamin A - for treating Measles viral problems; I assume that the > above antivirals would not address this?? CORRECT, but herpes viruses seem to work synergistically with measles, so one might consider starting with a antifungal, then Vit A therapy, and then jump into Valtrex (or the last two vice versa). Caprylic Acid, Berberine,Nizoral(Ketoconazole), Difulcan, Nystatin - anti > fungals for gastro yeast; the first two don't require a prescription; the > latter three do and there is a possibility that Difulcan and Nizoral can > alter testosterone levels CORRECT and that we don't see the " statins " working very well, specifically nystatin. >LDN - mood regulator; immune modulator; balancing TH1 and TH2 Not sure about the mood regulation part, but CORRECT. >Actos - balancing TH1 and TH2; lowering chronic inflammation; possibly > rebuilding myelination CORRECT >DMPS, EDTA, DMSA - chelators There is a debate about the term " chelators " so I'll say Yes, they are metals detox agents. > ALA Chelator and Antioxidant that goes above the blood brain barrier. > TTFD, Also use with a doctor. Toxic at higher dosages... but there is some interesting documented improvements in Downs, and Alzheimers as well. I never used this, but I've heard some good things about it. >GSH- antioxidants/vitamins? It's Glutathione, the bodies most important antioxident/oxidient scavenger. There are several ways to raise levels, but transdermal GSH is something to consider. I've used some nasal GSH in the past, but can't feel anything from it. I've never tried transdermal GSH, so I don't have anything to compare it to. - Stan > > Just kind of a general question. Guest guest
In Stan's letter he mentioned that anti-yeast medicines reduce testosterone and raise glutathione. This said just nizoral and diflucan do. What about nystatin, I know it's not the favorite but my son is doing well on it. Thanks, Re: Dan Conference Immune/Viral/Gut/Detox question ALA is a chelator and should be treated accordingly by dosing according to its 1/2 life, i.e. dosing every 3 hours, day and night, for some time on, and a greater time off. Guest guest
Nystatin does not. This could explain why we often do not see good reports about it. - Stan > > > > Just kind of a general question. Guest guest
Stan, Mark and Gier checked the nystatin and it does not do the same?? My DAN! doesn't know that we are doing Valtrex yet since Buie prescribed it for us. Is there a natural antifungal that does the same as nizoral and diflucan?? I of course just refilled the nystatin and he has no signs of yeast. We've seen the viral reaction from the 1st tiniest dose so I know he's a responder and I don't want to be forgetting or missing anything to take advantage of this. Thanks so much, > >Date: Wed Apr 12 13:11:02 CDT 2006 >To: mb12 valtrex >Subject: Re: Dan Conference Immune/Viral/Gut/Detox question >Nystatin does not. Guest guest
Correct. Nystatin does not seem to change levels of testosterone or Glutathione. I would get the Diflucan and do it right. - Stan > >> > > >> > Just kind of a general question.
