Guest guest
I sure hope the best for Larry and his wife, and I hope that the system in Italy is better than it is here in Canada, at least in Toronto. I've only been living here for 2 years, but the medical system scares me. I have a friend here who had a hysterectomy because she had a tumor back in the spring. In July, the doctors found another tumor, so at the end of August, she had an appointment with the doctor to assess the situation, and she had a surgery scheduled for the end of September to remove the tumor. However, the doctor " lost " his surgery time, so now her surgery is postponed until November. This tumor was described as " fast-growing " and it takes 4 months to get to surgery (assuming the doctor doesn't lose his surgery time again). And I have heard many other stories (to me, horror stories) from people at church. Oh, and one of the politicians up here just went to California for cancer treatment. Makes one wonder.
