Has anyone's school added cognitive impairment to their childs

qualifications for receiving a iep? 75 % of children with autism have

cognitive impairment. Which to me means that this is part of autism.

My son's school slammed us with a cognitive impairment label after our

eval and I beleive this is because I wanted placement and now they have

a out. Let me know what you think and if this has happened to anyone

else. Kathy
