Guest guest
Hi Let me know how it goes with your trainer. I have been through a similar process, although I did not hire just one coach. I went to a nutritionist, and then when deciding to get serious and not let my health slip (and with the aim of a triathlon) I also found a good sports therapist. I would love to swap tips. I try to get to the gym at least 3 to 4 times a week. In the past I have really benefitted from aqua aerobics. I did yoga for a while (2 years) but I found it was not getting me where I needed in terms of stretching (I have loose joints so wound up taking the yoga in my joints and not my muscles where I needed it). I now do physio work about 2 hours a week of what is in essence intense stretching and soft tissue work. I also find that naturally I benefit more from protein and vegetables, although with the triathlon stuff I am doing I NEED CARBS sometimes after a hard workout. What can I say? Let's keep sharing tips, either on or off list, Donna -------------------------------- Please consider supporting my 2007 fundraising activities - click through to learn more - http://home.earthlink.net/~sponsordonna
