Guest guest
Hi there, Today I had a follow up EMG. It was different than my first, done by what they call in the UK a " registrar " or something that is more qualified than a technician. So she was able to use needles to get readings. The needle thing was not painful at all, more like little acupuncture needles so no big deal, and super interesting. It is wild to " hear " muscles. And to also see how the muscles act - rather than a smooth curve continued spiky action and signals. Showing nerve signals and abnormalities in them in action. I was also amazed as she got readings where the first did not. But each reading was at about 25% of the usual level in terms of velocity and strength. It really pays to go to a specialist clinic if you can.
