Guest guest
Hi , Hope you've well rested! I have no idea that Lightworks needs to be plug in the wall. I assume too quickly that it is battery operated. Ingvar is hyper and moves fast in the house. It will be a drawback for me if it is not battery operated, as I will not be able to keep him at one place to do the home exercise. I was hoping to get a portable hand-held device to use on him when he moves about the house to do his usual stuff, or when he works with his ABA therapist on discrete trials. Hmmm... Should we consider GRT light instead? Guest guest
You know I was at Dr E's today actually got to see the laser BUT never noticed it being plugged in to the wall - but after you mentioning it I think I did see her unplug it. I called up their to ask her - but she is gone so I will email her tonight and hope she responces back quickly. What she did say is you don't have to have the light touching the child for it to work - the beam from a far will work just as well as the body is made up of mostly water it will reflect and go to the area its suppose to be working on via the setting its on. She also said you cannot screw it up and cannot cause damage if doing it this way or by accident placed it on the wrong setting. She also wanted people to be aware that, the box will say for home and gardening (this is because its coming from Canada and it was being held up in customs before placing this on the box) So, until we hear back from her or the company I am glad you pointed this out. As for my kid, he will sit still for me, but you can also beam from a far and we do this from time to time with our pointer laser. Oh she also mentioned that the pulse is there but its quicker then eye can detect - Hope this answer some questions - Lorina > > Hi , > > Hope you've well rested! > > I have no idea that Lightworks needs to be plug in the wall. Guest guest
Limin, I found this website that has a strap-on LED, but it doesn't have infrared and it's a bit more pricey. I think you mentioned that you might get a GRT light. Is it possible to get one of these if you're not a physician? http://www.lightenergycompany.com/lightenergy/phototherapyprods.cfm?custID=49821278 SharonNew MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Guest guest
Would there be any chance on getting a group discount for the GRT ? Guest guest
I spoke to Dr. couple weeks ago about purchasing GRT, he will only sale to doctors. We would have to have our doctor order it for us. e Re: Lightworks laser and recent visit to Dr. A and E Would there be any chance on getting a group discount for the GRT ?Kathy>> Limin,> > I found this website that has a strap-on LED, but it doesn't have infrared > and it's a bit more pricey. Guest guest
Kathy, have you talk to Dr.Lynch about the GRT light? I'm going to see him after I have the lightworks on hand. e Re: Lightworks laser and recent visit to Dr. A and E Would there be any chance on getting a group discount for the GRT ?Kathy>> Limin,> > I found this website that has a strap-on LED, but it doesn't have infrared > and it's a bit more pricey.
