I was to a nutritional seminar this past weekend and the speaker said that you

should drink one-half your weight in ounces of water. For example: if you

weigh 100 pounds then you should drink 50 ounces of water per day.

And, I think, the water should be mineral water. Water that does not have

much mineral content will slowly leach minerals out of our bodies. (Water

is the universal solvent). Spring or Spa water usually has minerals as do

several bottled brands. Depending on location the tap water might be high

or low in minerals.
