Guest guest
Once again this reinforces the issue of discrimination against invisable disabilities. How many of these articles exist? Just when I thought it was safe to leave my house. Chris
Guest guest
same thing as Chris- now I'll get posted on the internet for not looking " disabled enough " . No one can see pain and at times the arthritis in my feet is excruciating. Even if I'm feeling okay, those twenty extra steps can tip me over the edge and haunt me for days with horrible pain. I get the mean looks and had one lady ask to see my placard because I am young with a four year old. She gave me the molten glare of doom that suggested I was a fraud. I dreaded seeing her in the store. arrgh! Why is it that people with disabilities cannot drive corvettes? I'm all for legitimate use of spaces, and I don't use the spaces whenever possible, but it will really limit my mobility if I feel paranoid about being judged for my authenticity. how frustrating.
