Guest guest Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 To qualify for SSDI benefits, you must be found *disabled* according to the rules of the SSA. If you 'retired' because of the inability to do your job any longer due to disability, you may be able to apply. But that's 4 years now since you retired, and the first question will be " why did you want so long to apply for SSDI " ?
