Kay,

OOO I didn't write the original post.

I am very optimistic. I was one of the first to try vitamin C. I have more hope

then most when it comes to treatment. I always have NT-3 and Sonic Hedgehog

Protein in the back of my mind. I have 3 kids looking at my example.

As far as the wheel chair goes, I have had a few doctors tell me I might end up

in a wheel chair. They act like its the end of the world. Gimme a break, there

are a lot worse things in life then sitting in a chair.

Hello ...

I used to say, " if I don't slow down I will end up in a wheelchair " I didn't

slow down, and I did. I now say, " I am slowing down, and taking care of

myself...I will get out of this wheelchair! " I will!

Words and thoughts are very powerful! Watch what you put your focus on! See

yourself always walking! Take action, believe it will happen, and accept it!

Hey, what do you have to lose by your new way of thinking? LOL

Hey ,

Actually...Doctors used to tell me this all the time when I was a

child, and they still do. I don't beleive any of them anymore,

because your right, they just don't know. The thing I dislike about

doctors is that they tend to focus on the negative issues of CMT.

You rarelly hear anything positive. Unlike this group. I have learned

more and hear more positive things from this group about CMT than what I ever

thought was possible.

In fact it has helped me remember my passion. The one thing that I

focus on is my bike. I love my bike, and I love riding it. I have

always loved riding my bike. I love the wind in my hair as I'm

careening down the hill and then riding up the next hill to do it all over

again.

I've given up on doctors. I don't believe in them, thus I don't go to them

anymore. I believe you can do what ever you set your mind to do. Mine is to

keep riding that bike as long as I can...and that will be until the sun sets on

my life.
