Guest guest
Karon, Research has told us for years that CMT can affect the entire leg, hands and arms, also the phrenic nerve and therefore swallowing and breathing. There is also substantial evidence based research on CMT affecting the heart. And we know that some with CMT experience sleep apnea and sleep related disorders. So, as for CMT " knowing when to stop " , that's written in our own unique genetic codes, as to how the type we have will manifest itself. That is what makes CMT so idiosyncratic - it is not Exact, Cut and Dried symptoms and that's it. ~ Gretchen
