Guest guest
I want to thank all of you who emailed me direct, and on the site. I see I am not alone! In my early thirties when I was single, and dating, I was wearing AFOs, raising 3 children, living in a 1 bedroom house, and no job. At that time in my life, I had more dates then time. LOL Now, 56, single, kids all grown, and working, I do have dates, but not the kind of man I am looking for. It's kind of funny...when I was young, pretty, and in great shape...I wasn't that picky on who I dated. Now, I am out of shape, a lot older, not ugly LOL, but very picky who I date! I think the CMT has brought about a much healthier " me " . I have become more spiritual, loving, a new love for life, and much more! I live in a small resort town, so, not many men to chose from. When on the dating sites, after the initial introduction, I let the men know about the CMT, and wheelchair. In most cases that is where it ends. I think one of my frustrations is that even though I am disabled ... I am a go-getter! I think most men think if you are disabled you don't have a life. I also think loving, and touch is very healing, and since I am in that healing mode...I feel frustrated that I don't have that " loving partner " as part of my life. So, I just asked myself...how can our CMT group help singles? How about sending out prayers :-) and how about us singles having Faith, that in the perfect time, our prayers will be answered! Kay~ Seaside Oregon Faith, Hope, and Love, and the greatest of these are Love!
