Wish I could find a doctor that cared...so far I haven't had any luck with any that wants to take the time to find out about CMT. Guest guest Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 Its just so hard to find a Dr who cares enough to keep looking for REASONS for the pain and not just drugs that may or may not work,plus there is that lung factor as well,but if i go into the hospital having an asthma event,if i even mention I have something neuromuscular going on they wont even treat me,so i just dont mention it! Mention CMT and they will tell you about other " CMTers " they saw and relate everything to that so why bother treating us since the wide spread idea is CMT has no real treatment. Many have said all the holistic treatments are nothing more then psychological wish fulfillments and they will tell you whatever works if not drugs drugs and more drugs.
