Guest guest
I am curious why there is such a short shelf life with this. Also why can't it be in plastic bottles? The ones I buy we keep for weeks, buying in bulk, and we get them in plastic bottles. Pam Spokane WA

I really don't know... my Chiropractor had the recipe and I just typed it in here for the list. There are numerous websites and one of them might have the answer to this. Also, this is very inexpensive compared to the stuff you purchase so they might be adding something to lengthen the shelf life that would also explain the $30 cost for a few ounces.... Hope that helps some??? Thanks, Tami
Guest guest
I can't recommend anyone to make colloidal silver this way, described below, just because it isn't true colloidal silver. If you are using ordinary tap water to make it, the silverparticles will react with all the other kinds of minerals and stuff in the water, forming silverclouride, silveroxide, silversalts etc... this kind of 'CS' should only be used externally, not internally. True colloidal silver is clear and at most it will have a slight yellow tone, but clear is the best (at about 10 PPM). You should only make colloidal silver with distilled water, good distilled water!! Then there is a lot of different ways of making CS, I can't recommend doing it with straight DC without any current limitation, there is some other good ways to do it: Current regulated DC (0.7mA), pulsed DC, HVAC... You have a lot to learn about CS, but it's well worth it. Take your time and learn from other users at: http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/colloidalsilver /s > Hi!
