Court Date for Social Security

I know I have not been on here for a while but I have really been busy.

Well first I think I need to give you heads up about what I am talking

about.

I applied for disability back in February 2005 and was denied

in September 2005. See mine is difficult to explain, I can't get

disability from 2005 to now because I did not have enough work history in the

past 10 years and the my husband makes to much ON OVERTIME to get SSI.

So back in 1997 I applied for disability and Social Security is going back to

there to see if I qualify for it. So we have to prove to them that I had a

disability before 1997. So for the past

few years I have been waiting for the court date.

For the past few months I have been trying to get paper work together to try and

fight for my disability myself but I have found that it is really hard to do. My

court case is coming up in October so I decided to get an attorney.

The attorney I went to said at the first visit that I did not have enough paper

work for him to take the case. So I came home

called around and got more paper work and called the attorney this

past Tuesday I went to see him and he decided to take my case. Now

this attorney won't get paid unless we win. So I feel that he thinks

we are going to win.

So my question to you is, do you think he would take the case if he thought we

were not going to win?
