Guest guest
He was the MDA surgeon for a while. did my husbands surgeries. I'm just a little bummed out with the info. he shared. He claims that there is no way to prevent deformities with cmt. I was under the impression bracing can help with that. He didn't encourage us with phys. therapy really. I just want someone to say there is something I CAN do right now to help my daughter. It just feels so powerless. Like the train just keeps moving ahead until she'll need surgery. I just don't know what to do with myself. I needed to vent sorry. I've been working out like crazy....its almost like I can't help her so I'm just working on my own body. I joined a group in my area for moms of special needs kids but most of their children are mainly autistic. I feel like CMT is different because the spirit and mind are willing but the body doesn't comply. Just wanted to write. Amelia
