What I was going to post about Friday

On Fri I finally gor Miss Jenna to respond to me and say I could call her about

2 and she would have about 20 minutes to talk. So I did! I told her some ideas

I had about what to do for meltdowns with that I learned at Little Friends

when I went for the training and also Kathy told me about it too and said I

could use a blanket to swaddle to help calm him and it helps with sensory

etc! the same blanket needs to be used though and where goes it should go!

There is this thing called a body sock that is for this! If you google it or

look on Ebay you will see what I am talking about! Kathy said I could just use

a blanket! Anyhow I believe the reason I got a response from her is because of

my wording of the email! So she says she has to ask Mrs Lotito about this

because they were trained to use restraining and she took a CIS class a couple

weeks ago on this! And she said you can use this at home but I will have to see

if I can use it here! And I told her that I think it is very important for both

of us to be doing the exact same thing and being on the same page with

everything! She said ya! So she asked me how my apt with Little Friends went

that day and I was telling her about it and that the report is almost done and

hopefully it will be for the staffing! I was saying how Dr B said last week

that is low functioning! See Miss Jenna has said she believes he is high

functioning. She asked after she said hmmm, what exactly does she mean by low

functioning? I was shocked she asked this and said well in my opinion and the

dr agreed looks to be higher functioning because he is verbal but we need

to look at the whole and not just that! Then I was telling her that Patty,

the director of Little Friends and the person I had the appt with was looking at

his report while we talked and she said this little guy is pretty severe! He

has some severe things going on! Again another hmmm! Then she said she would

like to talk to Little Friends if it was ok with me before the staffing and not

thinking I said ok and she said she would have to send something home with

on Mon to give her permission that I had to sign/fill out! So we get off the

phone and again I got a bit uncomfortable and treid calling her back because I

wanted to know why she wanted to call etc! She was gone so I emailed her about

it. I got a note from her in the notebook yesterday saying that she wanted to

talk to them because like I said on Fri we should all be on the same page and

work together! Jim says don't sign it, Kathy says don't I am uncomfortable

because of everything that has happened and been twisted and I don't know what

to do! I am trying to get in touch with Dr B there and Patty but so far

nothing! I thought about signing it only if I am allowed to be in on the call

like a conference call! I don't know? What do you all think about that? She

had also asked before all thiss what Little Friends thought of the body sock? I

told her they showed us about it! Sorry this is so long and I know some of you

must be getting sick of hearing about all this!
