Just a thought, have you been to an MDA clinic to see one of their orthotists? They may have a better brace for your needs. And yes, a number of us have been discouraged by physicians, yet there is not a doctor on this planet that 'knows' how your CMT will go. I hope you will look through our Files (especially the Vitamin C info), also take good care of yourself through nutrition, diet, and whatever exercise you can.
