If you have a good food processor, you can make a variety of granola

bars using crispy nuts, sprouted grains (don't use too much of these or

it will overwhelm the flavor), coconut, figs, soft dates, raisins,

carob/chocolate chips, etc.

For example, my kids like " fudge brownies " which are a combination of

crispy sunflower seeds & nuts ground up, then enough black mission figs

and dates to make the mix sticky and a sprinkling of carob chips. A

little coconut oil & vanilla can be added with the dried fruits. Served

with fresh fruit, milk or yogurt, they make a meal in themselves.
