Guest guest
I took my son to our naturopath today to test for Lyme, viruses, etc. and to get an idea of what would be effective. She uses a biofeedback machine (not biomeridian) for the testing. He tested positive for Lyme and has 4 strains of babesia, at least one strain of bartonella, and a few borrelia strains. She tested him for what would be effective against it and none of the herbs/naturals were testing well for him. Three antibiotics showed well: Bicillin, Doxycillin, and Mepron. He has an assorted collection of viruses, mostly measles is the thing giving him problems, and he tested well for Vitamin A and Monolaurin. Also OLE and she said IVIG would help. Subtillus and CoQ10 were also on the list as effective (these I haven't researched well to know how they would impact the viral load). She was also able to find which points in his methylation cycle are blocked and looks like methionine to SAMe is blocked and his sulfation pathway is blocked. She recommended he do low dose injections of B12 in hydroxy and cyano since he has become quite sensitive to MethylB12. His Clost Diff is aggravated and he has a few strep strains and has blastocystic hominis parasite, though seems at least the parasite has quited down since last check. I asked her to test if he was sensitive to EMF and that came out as highly sensitive. She mentioned the metals tend to amplify the effects of the EMF. (He has heavy metals too of course.) (She also mentioned a thing she has in her house called a " Stazigigizie... " can't remember what it was. It plugs into the wall - anyone know what that would have been? I forgot to write it down.) I figured that the EMF was an issue after reading Dr. K stuff from posts here and have already been testing the house. (I'll post my EMF hunting results another day. My Sony Trinitron TV emits very high for about 5 feet.) She tested for HBOT and I also asked to see if Valkion would be good for him. She said, no, and no. He is not ready for Oxygen. She says we probably need to address the viruses first before attacking the Lyme and its cohorts. I wanted to share this with the group for any feedback on our situation, and also to let you know what a good naturopath can find. My boy 2.5 yo, is non verbal but is pretty available for learning and is very loving. I am amazed at the strength he has to be so pleasant despite everything attacking him. I think all the kids are amazing. Please feel free to comment on what we are facing. I will keep everyone informed of our progress. Next steps: call our integrative doctor, get a Lyme test, get it covered, and get to work. We were looking at a huge mountain. Only the top was covered in a cloud so we didn't know how high it really was. Today, the cloud is lifted, and we can see our mountain is Mt. Everest. But at least we can see the limit, and now we can plan. Thanks to everyone for their insights on this board. Best,
