I am also positive for lyme and waiting co-infection results. My husband and daughter are both in the process of being tested. We are seeing Dr for Lyme treatment and Dr Mielke for biomedical treatment. Well I thought I was overwhemled when I joined the GFCFkids yahoo group a year ago but now I'm really overwhelmed. All the lingo and information is so confusing but I'm sure in time I will get a handle on it. Well any way my question is this; Dr put me on Doxycycline, Cefuroxime and Nystatin. I will be taking several doses of these throughout the day as well as all my other supplements and probiotics. So can I give all three of these medications at the same time with a large glass of water or will they inactivate each other. If I need to wait time in between dosing each med how long do I need to wait? I'm just not sure there's enough time in my day for all this and hoping I can consolidate. Thanks for the information on the prescriptions it's much easier doing them all 3 times a day at once rather than 9 times a day and then trying to find time for probiotics. With all these new diagnosis I feel like I'm going to lose my mind. I've already started two of my prescriptions and I can feel it's taking it's toll on me - it's going to be another long journey. Actually it was Dr Mielke who ran all Lyme and co-infection test on ds because his labs were continuisly showing bacterial infections and we couldn't shake it. So when his lyme tesst popped up positive she ran tests on the rest of the family. She then referred us to Dr . Yes, Dr is a LLMD and he's one of the clinical consultants for Igenex. UGGHHHH!
