Guest guest
My 7 and 1/2 month old is on the NT cow's milk formula (minus acerola tablets, sunflower oil, gelatin, and lactose... due a lot to finances). She was constipated a week or so ago due to feeding her bananas. It was awful!!! I decided to take her off solids altogether to see if that would help. It helped a bit (just on formula and breastmilk), however, she is getting constipated again. She never had a problem with my milk... so I'm thinking it's got to be the formula. My sister is looking into getting goat's milk... but the problem with that is I don't know how easily I could get organic liver for it. (which also makes making the meat-based formula difficult, too) So... If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do / feed her... I would appreciate it!!! I *really* don't want to put her on soy or commercial milk-based formula... especially since we can get such great raw milk... but I don't know what to do!!! Right now, we are taking measures to clear up her system, but I'm still feeding her the NT formula and some breastmilk as of right now. Thanks for any suggestions!
