This is the liver/gallbladder cleanse that I have just implemented on MYSELF over the last 36 hours. I did it without the enema, well because I didn't have the supplies and am kind of a huge wimp when it comes to that type of stuff. But let me tell you what I experienced so you will know what you are the kids should expect.

1. The epsom salt and water is kind of nasty. You should try to mask the flavor if possible.

2. They will feel a huge churning in the stomach, it is clearing out all of the old poop. So if you hear a "rushing liquid" sound you may have a few seconds to get to the potty. (yes I made it every time, but just barely)

3. The olive oil and grapefruit juice is also nasty. It's not that bad if you don't smell it. Once you smell it, you remember it's got 1/2 of cup of olive oil in it, then you get grossed out just by the thought of it. If you know how to muscle test, then please check the olive oil by putting one finger under your chin and testing the oil. This is the rancidity acupuncture point. If it is weak, then the oil is rancid which is a HUGE problem. Throw it away.

4. When the diarrhea comes, it may feel burning as it comes out. Buy the super soft toilet paper. (charmin) By husband got in a lot of trouble for buying the cheap stuff, let me tell you! If the burning is too uncomfortable you may want to take or give a sitz bath.

5. You will see stones coming out the entire day of the 2nd day. They look about as little as a piece of rice, but some bigger. You know it's doing it's job when you see those and can pat yourself on the back.

6. You don't eat or drink for about 24 hours. The eating part was no biggie but not having water, was tough. So don't go anywhere, just lay around at home so you don't exert yourself or be in the heat where you would typically need more water.

7. You might get a mild headache and mild body aches. Just an FYI

I have a sense about what the kids may feel during some of these things, that's why I thought it important to put it all down on paper so if you do this cleanse, you will be able to pinpoint what is happening and why they may feel a certain way.

God bless you for doing this. I did this over 2 years ago and I think

my mind has blanked out the memory because - thankfully - I don't

remember much. It was Godawful.
