Guest guest
, I, too, have fatigue problems+ and am starting only with what I can manage. I agree with scott that broths are the thing to start with ( after adding in cod liver oil capsules). Recently after months of doing both , I was ready to try the Beet Kvass, and I was so proud of my pretty batch. But I found out that even the small amount of alcohol it produces put me in a relapse. (I have 4 conditions which alcohol intolerance is a known symtpom - chronic fatige syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, neurally mediated hypotension, and mitral valve prolapse syndrome dysautonomia. I should have guessed, but I wanted so much to be able to handle it and get those fabulous nutrients.) I quick made mild organic black tea to reconstrict my blood vessels so I wouldn't be drunk all day from 2 ounces of Kvass ( and I was careful to use large chunks as directed). So far I alternate preparing the bone broths, fermented carrots, and soaked nuts. I eat more butter/ghee and use the shopping guide to pick better quality foods. Each change was enough to notice some positive changes. Adding the cod liver oil was the first thing I did as it required the least labor and it gave me noticably more stamina to make the broth. I am also intolerant to gluten (even if soaked properly) and milk proteins, but I am so grateful for what I can do. Thanks to all who write in!
