Guest guest
The native eskimos who live on raw fish, seals, etc. are very healthy. I read of one person who was deathly sick, and finally began eating raw meat--to his surprise, his strength returned. The Japanese eat raw fish also. One caution: Don't eat " unclean foods " --for example, pigs have trichina worms; these worms can live in human muscles. \\\ Joyce =(o o)= ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++--V---+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > >Rex wrote: > >With the words " healing sites " fresh in my mind and the drastic >improvement in my own health, I was fueled to journal and do more >research. Guest guest
Boy, I love this list!! I'm learning so much! This raw meat topic has me really thinking and I'm realizing that there alot of similarities with it and raw milk. With both raw meat and raw milk, the quality level and cleanliness of handling determines the safety of the product. There is a rather large mental hurdle one must overcome to partake of raw meats that is not there with raw milk, at least in my mind. So, I can see why raw meat is harder for folks to swallow (pun intended). If it makes anyone feel better, the beneficial bacteria in yogurt (and it's whey) are known to kill many bad bacteria, including E. coli. And several of the raw meat recipes in NT use whey as a marinade. Becky
