Guest guest
I just got my T-shirt in and " business " cards that talk about the www.LIAFoundation.org website and autism and infections, etc. My plan is to wear my shirt that also says " I recovered my child " or the button when I go out in public. I then plan on handing out the cards when people ask me questions so they can find the website and this group as well. If you go to the website, you can find where to order them. I can't wait to see how many people ask me for info. I am always trying to find a way to spread the word. I just feel such a longing to help every time I see a child with autism, ADHD, etc. or read a story of a child struggling. Its so difficult; everyone has a touching story. The ones where people describe having adult children with autism who are severely affected, effect me the most. I just feel a need to spread the word. My son, , who was not recovered till age 15, doesn't even like to talk about it. It such an emotional thing for him. He says he felt that people didn't understand him. He is actually starting to talk about it now. I hope I can get him to write about it to share with others. Poor , sometimes I embarrass him in public, like at the store or an office. I will say, " yes, recovery from autism is possible, just ask my son, he's right there " . just stands there and nods, looking around to make sure no one is age is around. Maybe I should whisper it, LOL. I will let you know how many people start asking questions from my T-shirt and buttons. Love and prayers, Heidi N
