Guest guest
Dear Stan and Listmates, Maybe I'm overthinking this whole mB12 situation, but I am getting myself really confused and would really appreciate any insight you might have. As I originally told you, my son showed no improvements or regressions last year on the mb12 shots. We discontinued them after 5 months. When the nasal mb12 spray came out, we tried that and although we didn't see any regression, we noticed a lot of sleep disturbances and increased hyperactivity. After thinking about it and calling Coastal, I assumed it was the folinic acid and decided to order my next spray without the folinic acid. However, reading 's post about using a different form of b 12 (Hydroxy b12) and after reading on www.defeatautismyesterday.com and Dr. Vinitsky's protocol of hydroxocobalamin and folic acid in a ratio of 2:5, I wonder if it is the form of b 12 that I should be changing? Are any of you familiar with this protocol and if so, could you shed some light on how to decide which children will respond best to which form of b 12? Thanks for any insight, Sheryl
Guest guest
There's nothing wrong with trying hydroxy, but I would try MB12 first. If MB12 works it does wonders, moreso than I have seen and read about hydroxy. That said, some people do report gains with hydroxy, but a much smaller amount of folks than with MB12. I tend to go with the odds. Basically, we can speculate all day long, but I suggest doing one trial at a time until you find what works best for your particular child. Why not try MB12 then HB12. - Stan > > Dear Stan and Listmates, > > Maybe I'm overthinking this whole mB12 situation, but I am getting myself really confused and would really appreciate any insight you might have. > > As I originally told you, my son showed no improvements or regressions last year on the mb12 shots.
