Guest guest
Sorry about the mis-fire. Anyway, my 11 year old has had a pimple-like rash that the doc at urgent care diagnosed as molluscum. Viral in nature, like a wart. Anyway, 2 of them got infected and I had to take him to urgent care today. The doc drained them and is culturing the pus for MRSA. Lovely way to spend an hour or two. Any suggestions for treatment? Thanks, Jill Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T
Guest guest
hi gill what worked with us to get rid of molluscum, was to drink aloe vera (30ml) every day and apply propolis to the skin (in and out treatment). our dan doctor of the time also said that you should concentrate on immune system and input extra vit c and zinc, which might have helped too. you're absolutely right that molluscum is viral, some kids immune systems don't want to let it go, so they need a helping hand. have you thought about ldm-100? karenza > > Sorry about the mis-fire. Guest guest
My son has had molluscum for about a year now. Every time a bump is healing, it forms almost like a boil or big pimple. There is pus inside and it gets red and swollen. It ends up excreting what it needs to excrete and it goes away. It seems to take a week or two for it to completely heal when the redness starts to appear. There was one that looked a little funny - not really blistering up, but peeling. I put tea tree oil on it and it seemed to help. Let me know what the doctor says. I'm not too worried about it because his body seems to be doing what it needs to do. But, I am curious! Guest guest
Also, Thuja is often mentioned for this by homeopaths. I have a friend who was able to rid both of her kids of it within 2 weeks. We are already on a constitutional homeopathy remedy, so our homeopath recommended that we let the body do it on its own while we are working on a deeper level. I have to say that I think even the constitutional remedy is helping his body get rid of it. Jenn > > > > Sorry about the mis-fire.
