When Grace and I were getting ready to go to my Mom's house for Easter, (Gage was already at his grandma's), Grace started shaking from head to toe and her lips turned a deep blue. She looked like she was freezing all of a sudden. When I saw the shaking wasn't going away, I put her in her crib so I could call me Mom and put my shoes on. I took her to a large hospital an hour away and by then she was sleepy and very feverish. She had a fever of 104.5 under the arm.

We were at the hospital until around 8:00 that night. She had chest x-rays and the radiologist and the first doctor told me she had pneumonia. Grace was started on IV antibiotics and cath'ed. They called in a "specialist" (what kind, I don't know) to double check their diagnosis and after some deliberation, he decided she did NOT have pneumonia. Apparently she had a "bad inspiration" and still has some "shadows" from her last bout with pneumonia 2 months ago.

But, she does have a kidney infection and an EAR INFECTION!!!!!!!!! I thought we had gotten away from that stupid Otis Media. And a kidney infection! What is with that? I didn't think kids got those! Her shaking may have been a febrile seizure, their not sure since it didn't happen in front of them.

SO, that's what Grace did with her Easter!

, I am so sorry! Poor Grace and you. I don't know how you

keep it all together - you are amazing! I'll and keep you in my

thoughts & prayers.
