I have been putting together books to read to my son using pictures

that go along with the main idea of a story. If a story was talking

about a blue horse on that page I put a picture of a blue horse and

have my son pick this among his pictures and velcor it to a board so he

can go along with the story. This way I know he is paying attentiona

and getting meaning of what I am reading to him. I am going to go

further with more pictures along with the page to get his comprension.

I can read a story to my son but I dont know is he listening or just

sitting and behaving. This way he is interactive with what is being

read. Does this make sense to you? It works but I dont know if I am
