Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, A few years ago, when my son had an overgrowth of klebsiella, the Doctor's Data test which detected it also showed that it was sensitive to caprylic acid. So, if this is a supplement that can be tolerated, it might be a good, relatively gentle one, to try to combat it with. Hope this helps, Deb > > I am wondering if anyone can point me toward protocols for Kleb? > > Any info appreciated! > Carolyn >

Psyllium in stomach forms jelly texture to protect Caprylic Acid from being destroyed by stomach acids and transports Caprylic Acid to the large intestine. 2. Pleo San Klebs: This is a homeopathic remedy with active ingredient Klebsiella pneumoniae 6X. I gave my son Pleo San Klebs for a few weeks, and followed with Caprylic Acid/psyllium twice a day almost for long term. Once I took a few week break from Caprylic Acid, Kleb flared up. It seems to me that these supplements can only bring Kleb under control and cannot permanently rid of it. As long as there are multiple gut bugs synergistically affect GI tract health, an attempt to knock down an individual gut bug is not going to help much.
