Dear Steve;

I know for myself when I cheat on my diet, especially with wheat and fried

oils, that I notice an increase in symptoms within 48 hours. Not just

feeling lousy cause your body is not used to the food, but actual increase

in numbness, pins and needles and floaters infront of my eyes.

Regards;

Dear M.;

Thanks for responding to my e-mail. I actually own a gym, and was a

competative athlete for many years, and made my living from personal

training, teaching classes and coaching. I think you hit the nail on the

head though, cause I am used to training very hare, Even though I think I

have found the right level for me to exercise at, I am sure that I have been

overdoing it. I need to look at all of my physical activity over the course

of the week, and make sure that I am soing SLOWLY. Very hard concept for me.

I definatly think that overdoing it on Wednesday at the gym led to me having

a hell of a time with my left side of my body, especially my left leg this

week.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I also think as others in the group have suggested, that I need a more

gradual approach spread over three work-outs a week, and not just once a

week. I am definately going to stick with it, until I see some improvement

in my strength.

Regards;

Dear ,

Probably you need to increase the amount of exercise that you do.

My mother has trouble walking , when she has had 'FLU, HER REMEDY IS TO

WALK FOR AS FAR AS SHE CAN, COMFORTABLY, TWICE A DAY, EACH TIME WALKING A

LITTLE FURTHER, UNTIL SHE IS FULLY MOBILE

BEST WISHES

Probably you need to increase the amount of exercise that you do.

Depends on YOU, and your MS and your condition and your body. Because this is easily THE MOST DAMAGING THING I could do, short of a trip to the hot tub.

I'm telling this story cause I kind of had a religious epiphany this

week-end, that I thought was neat, and wanted to relate the story.

Hi ,

I am a rather simple person that believes devoutly in God. I am

Christian, a " Reformed Tradition " up bringing as it were. If I had

to at this point in my life; I would use the word fundamental in my

beliefs.

There is no doubt that God will direct me through this part of

my journey. I also understand that not all people believe as I. I

truly believe that ones standing with God is not measured by a word

or ritual, but rather by one's truth and compassion.

Your epiphany was obviously well seen by you, pursue it, Spirit

is just one of mind, body, and soul.

Peace,

Ed
