Guest guest
I have been thinking about the borna virus. Care Clinics and Klinghardt brought this up at the LIA Conference. Care Clinics said all children with autism at their clinic have it. Borna virus is also associated with Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Parkinsons and more. These conditions have also been associated with autism for they respond to the same treatments. Amantidine is the medicine used to kill borna virus. I only quickly looked up borna virus, but it definitely can cause autism and has been brought up by several practitioners as a possible major contributor to autism or maybe the cause itself. It causes a dysfunction in the nerves communicating leading to psych symptoms and awkward motor skills like walking stiffly. All, but one of my chilren who use to be on the autism spectrum, walked oddly. One like a robot, one clumsily and fell often, and two did that toe-walking thing. Hmmm. Klinghardt said that this virus is difficult to test positive for. Thus, I don't know what lab Care Clinics is using, but if its difficult to test positive for, then that would discount some of the research that compared borna virus to chronic ailments. I know there is an alternative treatment to kill it, because I read it once, but can't remember what now. But, I do think this borna virus is worthy of some research. Guest guest
Heidi...you are correct. We talked about BV at the conference this last weekend. Apparently the kids testing positive are in DK's German practice because from what I understand there isn't a test in the US. I actually don't remember Kazuko mentioning BV in her talk, but I can e-mail her and find out the specifics on that. Interestingly.....I had DK examine me and give me his input on my treatment the night before the conference. I came up positive for Borna Virus according to his energetic testing. I also pulled up some studies and apparently the BV affects the Zinc / Copper balance.
