raw-milk yogurt success!

It's working so well now, I'm not sure what I did wrong before, maybe

didn't allow enough time. Anyway, thanks to whoever it was on this list

that said they do it all the time, I tried it again, and this time it

worked great.

I started with Seven Seas plain yogurt & added cold, 2-day old raw milk

in a large glass jar, stirred & put in my gas oven. In 24 hours I've got

the nicest yogurt I ever made. Everyone loved it! I started several more

batches because it goes quickly around here.

Also tried the desem sourdough starter last night. Got more lift than my

non-sour starter but no one likes the strong sour flavor. The non-sour

starter from GEM has been serving us very well and makes great cinnamon

raisin bread.
