Yep, but you'll be making frozen yoghurt. Quite tasty, though! -
Guest guest
I thought I was desparately lactose intolerant, but when I switched to raw, I built up over a several week period and now I can drink lots of milk. And use cream for home made ice cream. Are you having raw? Lynne > Is there a way to make ice cream from yorgurt? I'm lactose > intolerant, but really like ice cream, just can't handle it. Guest guest
No, Lynne its not raw. I live in AZ so there's none available. I glad you mentioned that though cause I was wondering if pasturized milk lends towards folks being intolerant. Unoffically I guess that answers it. But unfortunately, it doesn't help me much in AZ. I can tolerate small amounts of milk, cheese really, if I stay away from it faithfully for some time. BUt most often its just not worth it. Butter does not bother me though, so I've been uping the anti on that intake. > > Is there a way to make ice cream from yorgurt? Guest guest
You might try the combo that we have many evenings - some nice ripe banana cut up, some dried fruit cut up, yogurt, a little frozen cherry juice concentrate, almonds or other nuts and honey. It's yummy! Better than ice cream.
