Update on my son

Hi everyone. Thanks for all of the helpful suggestions over the past

couple of weeks. I just wanted to let you guys know that I have

chosen to do a hiatus on the Valtrex and work on getting the gut

cleared up. I have been giving him epsom salt/baking soda baths,

increased his Sacc B, and giving him charcoal twice daily and

getting those poops out and he is doing much better! He is less

foggy, less stimmy, and more involved with his surroundings. He is

very emotional but I figure that is normal with the die off

reaction. He just could not keep up with the die off and it really

threw him, and me, for a loop. He is very constipated from the

charcoal but he is managing to get 1 good poop out a day.

Between all of the Halloween festivities, hiding contraband, um I

mean candy, from the kids and attending a birthday party I managed to

read Healing Lyme by Dr Bruhner. I think I have gotten myself up to

speed on the basics of herbal treatment for Lyme as well as an

understanding of Lyme. It was a good read. Are there any other

books you guys recommend?

I am through with our current DAN. He was a good starting point for

us but I think my son's case is too complucated for him.

Unfortunately our appointment with the new DAN is not until

December!

I am also screening homeopaths and herbalists. From what I have read

about herbal protocols this is the route I am most interested in

however I do not know how I will administer them. I guess it is time

to teach them to swallow capsules, huh?

My daughter's diarrhea has also subsided. I have been giving her GSE

to help with bacteria, as well as introducing Sacc B.

Again, thanks for all of the advice and support. I appreciated all

of your help!
