Guest guest
Janet, I would never think of not allowing my daughters to see and spend time with their grandparents. I think that is very important. I just refuse to allow them to spend unsupervised time with my FIL for the reasons I mentioned. I know I can't blame my FIL for his behavior; his disease it to blame. Still, as their parent, it's a huge concern of mine as to what might happen when I'm not around. I wonder if this is common in Parkinson's? April W. Guest guest
Hi April, I'm sorry if I made it sound like you wouldn't want your daughters with their grandparents. I think I missed a big part about you going away and the worries of leaving the kids there unsupervised. I can understand your concern. I don't know if it is common with Parkinsons in general, but maybe with Parkinsons Disease Dementia PDD, which is what the Conference in DC is all about. It seems to have all the same symptoms as DLB, which is LBD. DLB is Dementia With Lewy Bodies and there is also DLBD Diffuse Lewy Body Disease and Cortical Lewy Body Disease CLBD They all are Lewy Body Disease LBD --- aswest1021@... wrote: > > Janet, > > I would never think of not allowing my daughters to > see and spend time with their grandparents. Guest guest
April, I think lose of inhibitations is part of LBD. It still doesn't mean your children should be left alone. You are exactly right to be there with them. They can figure out and cope with sexual advances either way. It scares them as it should. I know some women who aren't kids who it scares.
