Guest guest
I have a friend whose mom has just been diagnosed with Devic's Disease. It's similar to Transverse Myelitis and MS. I've been trying to find " alternative " information on it, and I'm not finding what I'm looking for. It's all so medical, and full of BS! We all know that these things do not just happen and that there is an explanation. Since autism is related to other neurological problems like this, I was hoping someone on this group would have more information. I need to know if it could be linked to vaccinations, Lyme's disease, other viruses, etc... Who should she see and what should she do? Are there any websites with information that actually useful? She gets her yearly flu shot, but has opted to get the " mercury free " jabs the last few years because I warned her about it. She was a nurse before she retired and firmly believes in the medical system. I tried to get her off of the vaccine completely, but she made her choice to keep doing it. She had her last flu shot in October I believe, and she started having problems in February (I think). It doesn't seem related, but I guess it could be. She lives in NY, so I would imagine Lyme's disease is a possible answer. Any other thoughts? Thanks so much, Jenn
