Guest guest
I'm new to this discussion so perhaps you have addressed my question. What is your opinion on the quality of bottled spring water as compared to filtered water. Would the best spring water be more favorable than the best filtered water? Does it make a difference. Thanks, JJ > Greetings all, > > I have completed my initial research into Lono's writing and the > claims for his technology. Anyone else please do the same. It would be helpful to me as I amconfused and as a result am not drinking water since it all gives me the creeps(as to what's in there) or is too expensive. Guest guest
Greetings Joan and JJ, I have some strong opinions on water based on my research, which I would be happy to share with you. However since this issue has been extensively discussed on this list I will just briefly summarize what we have found and then invite you to peruse the archives for a more extensive discussion. I am also happy to snail mail you our water packet which goes into our water research and the products we recommend and carry more extensively. It is our position that our water supply, as a general rule, is so polluted with toxins we know about, toxins we are just discovering, and toxins we may not discover for years, that the best solution is to get a system that removes all toxins from the water, no matter where you live or what the water is like. (I don't say this to scare anyone but just to state a terrible, grim fact of our time.) Such a system -must- be based on purifiers, and not just filters, in order to get the job done. While there are many systems with purifiers out there (reverse osmosis, distillation, deionization), only a system with at least two purifiers as well as accompanying filters like carbon can ensure that you are getting truly pure water. And truly, we have found that it is necessary to have a system that includes three total purifiers in order to be not only certain of purity, but also confident of the system's functioning over time. It would have been easy once upon a time to accuse us of overkill and excess with the triple-purifier we carry, but not any more. In these crazy times with everything from MTBE to chromium-6 to anthrax to lead to fluoride in our water and more toxicity revelations hitting the headlines constantly, a system of this power is looking extremely prudent to more and more people. And of course we recommend treating the water after going through the system to ensure it is balanced both minerally and energetically, which is inexpensive. We can say more about the re-balancing process privately if you like. As for bottled water - if you find a good clean brand, that is fine as long as you are ok with the inorganic mineral content. We feel based on our research and personal experience that inorganic minerals in our drinking water reduce the ability of our body to hydrate itself, and are themselves a health liability, potentially accumulating in joints, arteries, and organs. If you would like, I could share the research we have done on this subject as well. Feel free to contact me at radiantlife@... with any questions, and be sure to check out the list archives.... Guest guest
So functioning under the assumption that available (tap) water is bad, if most fruit/veggies are 90+% water, are we not poisoning ourselves eating even organic produce? Guest guest
I would say that we definitely should be concerned about produce that comes from municipal or irrigated waters that are not pure. Even though plants pick and choose nutrients to some extent, it stands to reason that good water would produce better more nutritious, less toxic produce than bad water. I don't know if there are water standards for " organic " crops but I suppose there are. Even rain water should be of concern what with atmospheric pollutants but hey - we can only do so much! > So functioning under the assumption that available (tap) water is bad, if > most fruit/veggies are 90+% water, are we not poisoning ourselves eating > even organic produce? > > Ramit > > > _________________________________________________________ >
