Half.com is excellent! I should know as I am absolutely ADDICTED to it! But

I managed to get some incredible deals on hard to find books and managed to

sell quite a few books I had no further use for.

How odd. I just went to check them out, and besides attempting to be

a carbon-copy of Amazon.com, their prices are NOT better than on

Amazon. I compared recently purchased books off Amazon with half.com

and there was no comparison for a lower rate on Amazon.

depends on the book seller. I always do best at half.com, second best

at and Nobel , and worst on amazon every time. I make a

point to check all three each time. and Nobel - buying two or

more books at a time is free shipping. Amazon charges for shipping

per wearhouse.

Also - there is a really great web site for second hand books:

http://www.abebooks.com

I have found some of the truly obscure books I have been hunting

down at this sight.
