I don't know all the ins and outs of it myself, but evidently they can prohibit things from being imported -- Vegemite comes to mind. Now, they did say with Vegemite that you can import it for your own use, but not to sell. I have no idea how that translates into "legal, illegal" or what difference it makes because Vegemite is a food, not a drug. That's why I'm trying to find out of the confiscation of domperidone at the border was an urban legend, or if it has really happened. But so far, no one has said anything.... My sister, who is in London with her daughter and new grandbaby can get domperidone without a prescription, but only 10 tablets at a time. (She's bringing it home for me for my daughter). My other sister, who is in Germany, got her ortho to write her a prescription for 200 tablets which SHE is bringing home for me for my daughter. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone in a country where you can get a decent amount without a prescription, so if need be, I'll be getting it from New Zealand again like I did the last time. And then we'll see if mine gets stopped at the border -- and I'll know for sure. Jan My blog Year of the MC In a message dated 6/11/2008 11:56:29 A.M. That's why I wanted to see if anyone had had it confiscated (which I have heard) or if it is one of those LC urban legends. Jan My blog Year of the MC Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife.
