Guest guest
My toddler is starting to eat more and more grain products out in the world, and her mood changes after she eats these foods are profound and noticeable - she becomes negative, cranky and cries a lot. I've had a grain mill for awhile, and I've never used it because my goal is to cut carbs and not make them. However, I now want to make cookies, muffins, and other goodies for my daughter so she doesn't feel deprived when we're out in the world and she wants a treat like the people she's with. So, my questions are: 1. sources - where do the bakers on this list get their grains, and in what form should I order oats, wheat, rye and spelt. (Am I leaving any basics out?) 2. recipes - which NT (or non-NT, if you have them) recipes produce the yummiest goodies. 3. Any tips? I haven't wanted to get started down this road because of all the past e-mails I've read about problems with starters, etc. For now, I'll stay away from sourdough, but hopefully I'll be able to make that soon too. Thanks Dana
