The usual " Monday-Wednesday-Friday " sort of regimen is a decent, easy-to-remember, easy-to-schedule program, but it's not necessarily " the " best system for everyone. People that advocate " High Intensity Training " tend to claim that two days per week is plenty, and those that push the " Super Slow " version say that one day per week may be all one can stand. At the other extreme, the " Power to the People " program favors working the same muscles 4-5 times per week, possibly varying reps, sets, and poundage slightly.
