175 euros (222 USD) is actually VERY expensive !

Same price as some perfectly correct bench presses + bars + weights, or as a fitness bike, or whatsoever...

The Isokinator Pocket is 75 euros (95 USD ) + shipping on Newbody...

On Isokinator.com, the same one is 49.90 British Pounds ( 58 euros = 73 USD ), shipping included, + an easy to find 10 per cent discount on the internet.

That is to say 44.91 pounds (52 euros = 66 USD)...

So, even it is still expensive for a plastic gadget, one can save 29 USD and shipping...

I wonder if the Isokinator Pro is sold cheaper somewhere else too... but didn't find it...

Bonjour Didier! If I may ask, where in France do you live? I lived in France for twoand a half years back in the 60s. I think the French people arewonderful, and I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent there.I have an Isokinator Pocket model that I ordered from the UK site inMay of 2007. I've been using it regularly since I got it, and haven'thad any problems with it at all so far. How did yours break? I'd like to know what I should perhaps bewatching out for!I also have a Bullworker X5 and a Steel-Bow, and think they are great.I would not want to be without either one of them or the Isokinator. You have got me interested in the Isokinator Pro! You say it hasdifferent handles for hands and feet, but in the picture at their site(http://tinyurl. com/64cw2v) I only see one set of straps like thePocket model

has. Is there another set of straps that come out theside or something? 175.00 euros ($222.00 USD) seems awfully expensive for such a smalldevice, but from what I have read at their site (I used the Googlepage translator which is not perfect, but gives one a good idea of themeaning) it looks like a very high quality machine, built to last along time. Your excellent description of it makes it sound like itwould be a very worthwhile investment.Thank you,Ronn>> > Concerning Iso-motion: > > - It is true that in theory, you can perform Iso-motion with aBullworker (BW), or with a Steelbow, or with an Isokinator, or evenwith a rope or a towel;> > - However, my experience is different when I use a rope, a

towel, BWX5, Isokinator Pocket or Isokinator Pro (Steelbow I do not know). Iwill not talk of rope or towel. I can perform some (not all!)Iso-motion exercises with BW X5, but it is neither convenient nor veryefficient. With Isokinator Pocket, it was (I use the past tense as itbroke) possible to do more Iso-motion exercises, it was much moreconvenient, but the workout was not so much better than with BW X5.Isokinator Pro is quite different: it allows very efficient Iso-motiontraining, and better exercises, because it has different handles forhands and feet. For Iso-motion, the workout is quite superior to BW X5or Isokinator Pocket; I really feel it in the muscles, both upper andlower body (even leg exercises). Why is that so? It is difficult tosay. Maybe due to the higher resistance (vs Pocket)? Maybe due tohandles instead of "cables" (vs BW)? I think it is more than this, butdifficult to express: it

is "smoother" to use than Pocket, and easierto make a powerblock (i.e. keeping exactly the same effort during themove) than with BW (with BW you tend to relax a little during the move).> > - Concerning the Isokinator resistance, being 45kg for Pocket, and90kg for Pro, I cannot say much. I did not try the maximum resistance, neither for Pocket nor Pro, and I did not have both at the same time(I bought the Pro a few weeks after the Pocket broke). What I can sayis that Isokinator Pro resistance is enough for me: for one of theupper body exercises, I only use 5kg resistance. The maximum I use is60kg resistance for one of the lower body exercises, and I only doshort series (6 reps). I would be surprised to read that one caneasily perform 15 reps with the maximum resistance (displayed as 90kg)...> > Didier>
