Concerning Iso-motion:

- It is true that in theory, you can perform Iso-motion with a Bullworker (BW),

or with a Steelbow, or with an Isokinator, or even with a rope or a towel;

- However, my experience is different when I use a rope, a towel, BW X5,

Isokinator Pocket or Isokinator Pro (Steelbow I do not know). I will not talk of

rope or towel. I can perform some (not all!) Iso-motion exercises with BW X5,

but it is neither convenient nor very efficient. With Isokinator Pocket, it was

(I use the past tense as it broke) possible to do more Iso-motion exercises, it

was much more convenient, but the workout was not so much better than with BW

X5. Isokinator Pro is quite different: it allows very efficient Iso-motion

training, and better exercises, because it has different handles for hands and

feet. For Iso-motion, the workout is quite superior to BW X5 or Isokinator

Pocket; I really feel it in the muscles, both upper and lower body (even leg

exercises). Why is that so? It is difficult to say. Maybe due to the higher

resistance (vs Pocket)? Maybe due to handles instead of " cables " (vs BW)? I

think it is more than this, but difficult to express: it is " smoother " to use

than Pocket, and easier to make a powerblock (i.e. keeping exactly the same

effort during the move) than with BW (with BW you tend to relax a little during

the move).

- Concerning the Isokinator resistance, being 45kg for Pocket, and 90kg for Pro,

I cannot say much. I did not try the maximum resistance, neither for Pocket nor

Pro, and I did not have both at the same time (I bought the Pro a few weeks

after the Pocket broke). What I can say is that Isokinator Pro resistance is

enough for me: for one of the upper body exercises, I only use 5kg resistance.

The maximum I use is 60kg resistance for one of the lower body exercises, and I

only do short series (6 reps). I would be surprised to read that one can easily

perform 15 reps with the maximum resistance (displayed as 90kg)...
